The bedrock of development in every society is the way children are brought up in line with the image and developmental interest of the group in question. For decades now if not centuries, Africa as a Continent has been permanently classified as the home to the world third world nations invariably, the underdeveloped and developing nations. Although many nations out of curiosity to save the continent from life threatening poverty and economic cum political disaster, has put in effort, the extraneous factors responsible for the woes of the continent have not been addressed either pretentiously or ignorantly. The domination and imposition of the global media channels by the cultural racists have disfigured the minds of the indigenous children of Africa such that at any point in time they are made the enemies of their fatherland in the interest of the domineering nations. In view of the fact that diagnosing an illness is a step away from curing it, the present work focused on revealing the chronological relationship between the global/domestic media and self-hatred among Africans and how to practically reverse such to engender development in Africa and other nations by all and sundry.
