The unfussy fuzzy essays put together here have mostly been written while invigilating examinations as part of a teacher work quite unpleasant though. The writings do not indulge either in hasty inductions or dicto simplicitors. Quiet but loud, silent but loud thinking characterizes these writings. Prof. Arif Khattak, Director Academics, Iqra University, Islamabad, brings along a teaching and research experience of two decades. He has to his credit more than a dozen books and 8 research papers. He was the first ever Fellow from Pakistan at SOAS, University of London, 1999. His area of interest is Language and Politics in South Asia.
