Peoples ways of looking into life vary from person to person similarly marriage does not bring in same results for all and it is not perceived in the same manner any longer by women. My chosen texts from the Nineteenth and Twentieth centuries feature married women with different ways of thinking. This book actually aims to show the fact that in early nineties married women accepted their confinement, their worsening mental conditions, at the end of the century women started looking for happiness, pleasure outside of their mainstream domain hence, they were no more mentally, physically dissatisfied rather happier. Thus an era of ´New Women´ begins. Twentieth century women proved themselves to be no longer weak, delicate, vulnerable. They gave a completely different ideas about married women. Their never ending search for true love, real happiness, sexual fulfillment, unquenchable thirst for freedom, indomitable confidence proved the fact that married women are capable enough to be independent, to cherish dreams and fulfill them; to be strong enough which will help them in establishing their own identity, own grounding despite various resistance i. e. Marriage.
