From 53 stories of parents who struggle daily to make a difference in the lives of their disabled children, this book investigates early intervention services in Jordan. The study qualitatively examines the experiences of Jordanian parents of young children with disabilities regarding the provision of services for their children, and explores parents perspectives on caring for disabled children. This text offers practical knowledge and promotes understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of pre-school provision for disabled children in Jordan as seen from parents perspectives. This book helps practitioners and specialists involved in disability issues to understand parents of children with disabilities and delivering supportive services from the time that the child s problem is suspected.
