Atanda held that the Dialectics of Revolution reflects the playwright´s ideological position in the postcolonial experiences to study history in the progression of its contradictions for positive change. This book points its dramatic search light towards a just society and a source of criticism in order to understand the inherent values in any given ideology to advance the course of humanity within the dynamic and intrinsic essence of time and space.

He had a B.A Degree in Dramatics Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, M.A Degree, Theatre Arts, from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, and His PhD from University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He is currently a lecturer at the Department of Performing Arts, Kwara State University, Malete, Nigeria. His research area is theory and Criticism.
