Oliver Jeffers, geb.1977, ist Designer, Illustrator und Maler. Zahlreiche Auszeichnungen und Ausstellungen u.a. in New York, Dublin, London, Sydney und Belfast. Gewinner des renommierten Nestlé Children´s Book Prize in Gold 2005 und des Blue Peter Book 2006. Jeffers lebt nach seinen Reisen um die Welt wieder in Belfast, Nordirland.
