This study was aimed to examine the carbon Stock in the Gullele Botanical Garden. To meet the objective of the research, the study was entirely based on quantitative study design by considering 60 sample plot i.e., 10 20 m2 which was systematically located at every 600m vertical height and 300m horizontal width in the Garden. The results shown, minimum carbon per tree is 0.005 tones for 10%, 8.3%, 5.8%, 4.6%, 17.9%, 8.3%, 4.3%, 3.2%, 3.1%, and 6.2% of Rose Abyssinica, Pavetta Abyssinica, Osyris Quadripartia, Olinia Rochestiana, Myrsine Melanophloeas, Erica Arborea, Dovyalis Abyssinica, Dombeya Torrida, Croton Mocrostachyus and Carissa Spinarum respectively. Whereas, the maximum carbon per tree is 37.84 tones for 2.9% of Eucalyptus globules and Juniperusprocera. This indicates planting one tree could be sinking 0.56 + 1.71 SD tones mean carbon in the above ground biomasses. Concerning Carbon Stock in Below Ground Biomass , 0.00098 tones minimum and 7.5677 tones maximum carbon stock were sequestered per tree, i.e., 3.42 + 2.62 SD t ha-1 mean carbon stock and 12.54t ha-1 mean carbon dioxide stock were sequestered in below ground biomass.
