In the unassuming, small area of East Texas sits the bright town of Wishers. One of the oldest towns in Texas, filled to the brim with artsy boutiques and clever street names; boasting of its beauty on every corner. In all honesty though, it´s not what this story is about. Tis only the backdrop really. Here is where we meet our heroine, Sawyer. In her 30´s, starting to feel somewhat past her expiration date but mostly content in life (if there is such a thing). After all, she adores her loving son, her kind-hearted family, her life on Lake Wishers, even her job. No need to complain right? Something still feels empty inside however, but no worries, the feeling will pass....right? Enter Blaine Andrew, our possible hero to the story. This new, enticing neighbor brings plenty of heart to our story but of course, that´s not all he brings. What´s life without a bit of baggage though? Blaine´s past follows him to his new life since history is difficult, if not impossible to escape. A mystery lays afoot amidst this romantic comedy, (say that three times fast) possibly forever intertwining the fates of both Sawyer and Blaine.
