Accounting is the process of collecting, recording, summarizing, interpreting and communicating financial information to permit informed decisions. Accounts are records in which financial information is contained. Accounting is a process which involves the art of recording, classifying and summarizing in a significant manner and in terms of funds, transactions, and events, which are, in part at least, of financial character and interpreting the results thereof.
