Nutrition of an individual has an impact on BMI which ultimately affect the life expectancy in community. The BMI values for overweight found to be higher in WHO but lower in Asian criteria. The study was a retrospective with analysis of a mortality data on the basis different factors consisting of age, gender, marital status, socioeconomic conditions, medical History and BMI. The data was collected from computer, death claim files, and registers from life insurance organization. A total of 300 death claim cases (2005 - 2014) were randomly selected. The data was inserted on spread sheet from research instruments. The data showed that maximum mortality occurred due to CVS causes(43.34%) followed by cancer(9.0%) and un-natural(8.33%) whereas lowest found in endocrine cause(0.33%).The higher mortality at normal BMI in WHO is due to its wider range for normal BMI(18.5-24.99) against Asian criteria. Healthy life style should be opted to prevent mortality ratio in early 40´s of life. In life insurance organizations NT-proBNP should be conducted to predict mortality.
