Nancy Fraser has acquired international reputation by her powerful integration of feminist issues into the critique of capitalist society. She has corrected, thus, some shortcomings of the Marxist tradition and the School of Frankfurt. The present volume documents a workshop at the University of Wuppertal dedicated to the recent developments of her thought. Her analysis of the actual crisis of Capitalism focusses the interrelation of economy, ecology, polity and society. Colleagues from various disciplines are taking a stand on crucial topics and texts of Fraser´s oeuvre in the last decade. Fraser is responding to each paper.
